Lotus plants are classified by the height of the mature plant. The mature size of a lotus can be affected by the size of the pot, amount of sunlight, fertilizer and temperature.


Exquisite of Bowl Lotus, Micro Lotus, Teacup Lotus - smallest of bowl lotus, will grow as miniatures in pots less than 13" diameter 

Bowl Lotus - less than 13” tall (bowl can also refer to flower shape)

Dwarf or Small Lotus- 1'-2’ tall 

Medium Lotus - 2'-4’ tall 

Large Lotus - over 4' tall
